Services and Rates

Private and Semi-private Pilates sessions incorporate any or all of the specialized Pilates equipment, including the Reformer, the Cadillac, the Combo Chair, and the Ladder and Step Barrels, as well as work on the Mat. Specialized and body-specific instruction make these sessions unique.

Group Equipment classes are perfect for students with experience on the Reformer and familiarity with the Pilates repertoire. Levels range from Beginner to Advanced, with Therapeutic options for all levels. A minimum of 3 Private sessions are required prior to joining a group Reformer class.

The Pilates Mat work forms the foundation of the Pilates method. A Mat class includes a series of exercises performed on a soft mat on the floor. It is every bit as challenging as the Pilates work on the equipment. Mat classes are a great place to hone the basic Pilates techniques. One Private session required prior to joining our Mat classes.

Our Pilates Barre class takes traditional Pilates to the ballet barre. The upbeat series of exercises flow together continuously with music, keeping the heart rate elevated. We begin with a fluid warm-up, progress to arm work incorporating resistance training and culminate in a focused leg and hip workout. No prior experience needed.

Instructor Trainings & Continuing Education

Thrive Pilates is a host of the Balanced Body® Pilates Instructor Training program, a thorough and comprehensive course of study covering exercises on the Mat, Reformer, Trapeze Table, Combo Chair, Step Barrel and Ladder Barrel. Because we believe in a wholistic approach to teaching Pilates, we also integrate anatomy and movement principle training throughout the program. Students can choose to train in certain modules of study only, or complete the entire comprehensive program.

Workshops

Thrive Pilates brings in internationally renowned instructors each year to teach weekend continuing education workshops. Past workshops have included Madeline Black, Cara Reeser, Tom McCook and The Franklin Method. Please stay tuned for future workshops!
